"HONEST ABE"

Abe was an only child in a poor family. He was taught good principles, to be honest, and never lie. He started helping out in a store by sweeping up, then the owner hired him and put him in higher positions until finally he became a cashier. They trusted him. One day, after his job was done, he started checking his cash register and found out that there was more money than there was supposed to be. He began to remember the customers that came that day an remembered that while he was busy with one customer, the other one left. So he understood that that person forgot to get their change back. He got that money and went over to that persons house and returned the money. That person was very glad because she was poor so her money mattered to her. She started telling people about his honesty the news spread, and people began caling him, "HONEST ABE." When Abe grew up, he became the PRESIDENT. This was Abraham Lincoln, our 16th President.

Cell Phone vs. Bible

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it as we traveled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

This is something to make you go hmm... Where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

Pass this on to everyone you know that has a cell phone. Makes you stop & think "where are my priorities?"

The New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME) ! Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not allowed in most public schools anymore because the word "God" is mentioned....>a kid in Arizona wrote the attached... NEW School prayer :

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise..
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,

UNUSUAL LOVE

I heard a story on Christian radio today, it was about a Czar (king) of Russia, and a Native American Chief. The Czar was always mad and mean, but his wife was always nice and merciful, so she constantly calmed him down. A man was guilty, so the Czar wrote a letter explaining that the person be sent to Siberia for sure death there as a punishment. But his wife, found the note and changed only ONE comma, and changed the whole sentence into that the person should surely NOT be sent to Siberia, and this way gave him mercy and saved him. Also, the Indian Cheif found out that someone of the tribe was stealing chicken, so he said that whoever is doing this should get 10 lashes. Then when the person wasn't found, and kept on stealing, he changed it to 20, then 40, and finally he was outraged and said 100 (which meant sure death). Finally, they set a trap and caught the thief, and to everyone's amazement, it was the Chiefs mother. He knew he couldn't change anything, so instead he told the people to tie her up to a post, then he took off his shirt and went up and covered her whole body with his own and told the brave to whip him instead. After 100 lashes he fell to the ground and died. What these two stories have in common is that the fate of the person that did the WRONG deed was changed from bad to good. Same with us, we all sin, and fall short of salvation. Jesus went on the cross and paid all of our debts and saved us all from eternal death in hell. We should all thank Him, and worship Him for that.

Creation vs. Evolution

Yesterday, my friend was showing us an example. He told the audience to put their heads down and close their eyes. The he told us to pick up our heads, and open our eyes. When we looked at the stand, it had 9 letters lined up in thr order of "I LOVE YOU" and he said that he just threw up these letters and they fell down in that order. Is that possibe? Probabally not. It is very hard to believe. Then think of how much things would have to happen for that to occur, lots. same with evolution, just with one bang! the earth was created and everything was perfect. It even sounds crazy, so obviously it is easier to believe that someone took the time and created it. So God created the earth. That is my opinion on this theory. God bless You!

Mitt Romney is out!

Mitt Romney withdrew from the presidential capaign, so for the Republicans there are only 3 nominees left. These are John McCain, Mike Huckabee, and Ron Paul. Hopefully the only one who stays and wins will be Huckabee.

I want to become a pilot

I am saving most of my money from paychecks and use it for flight lessons. Each lesson or flight is a minimum of 1 hour long. I pay about $130 for each hour, so it's pretty expensive. I have only done my introductory flight which was 30 minutes and I enjoyed it a lot. I am planning on becoming a commercial pilot and working for some cargo company like UPS, or Fedex. I hope everything works out good.

Mike Huckabee already won 6 states on Super Tuesday. The states are West Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Iowa. I hope he wins a lot more states and ends up to be the President. I'll keep in touch with news regarding Huckabee.
