HAPPY RESURECTION DAY!

GOOD MORNING, FAMILY & FRIENDS,
H A P P Y R E S U R R E C T I O N D A Y ! ! !

What a blessing it is to be ALIVE in such a "sign seeking" time as we are living in! JESUS CHRIST IS THE SIGN FOR OUR GENERATION! Jesus came preaching, teaching, healing, laying hands on people, casting out devils....NO OTHER SIGN IS REQUIRED! The Giver of life has come and given His life so that those, who are dead in their sins may have life and so that those who live in Him may have abundant life here on earth and that that life may be eternal life through Him. But to have this great benefit, we must be born again (born anew, born from above, REBORN) (John 3:3-8). We must be REBORN...not by going back into our mother's womb to be born but we must be born of the Holy Spirit of God, through the word of God which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23). In order to be REBORN, we must believe/receive Jesus Christ. "But as many as received Him, to them gave He the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12).

+++JESUS, the Son of God, became the son of man so that we, the sons of man, might become the Sons of God! +++

I can remember a time when I was singing the hymn, "It Is Well with My Soul" and the words from this verse:

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!

My sin, not in part, but the whole --

Is nailed to His cross and I bear it no more!

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul!

As these words began to echo and resound from very chambers of my own heart, the whole scene with Christ nailed to the cross came alive right before my eyes and at that very moment I was being CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST. I realized that He had taken my place on that cross because it was I who had sinned...not Christ! It was His life being given for me...all because the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). I realized that I had been given a death sentence but Jesus took my place on "death row" and FREED me from the penalty of sin. I felt the weight of sin being lifted from me and the burden of my sin was suddenly gone! It was gone because He was bearing it for me!

The SIN ISSUE is one that we all have from the moment we are born into this world. Psalm 51:5 says, Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in SIN my mother conceived me. At birth, we are really dead (STILLBORN) because of the curse of sin that we are born into. We are born in sin with a death sentence and that is why WE NEED CHRIST, the Son of God, who was born, like we are born, in sinful human flesh to REDEEM us from this awful curse! For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Christ has REDEEMED us from the curse of the law (SIN), having become a curse (SIN) for us...(Galatians 3:13). It was HIS LIFE FOR OUR LIVES! Jesus became the first to be born from the dead so that we wouldn't have to remain STILLBORN! And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD, that in all things He may have the preeminence (Colossians 1:18).

Jesus has done it all when He died on the cross for our sins to present us before God (who hates sin) holy, blameless and irreproachable in His sight (Read Colossians 1:19-23). Jesus took care of all of our ISSUES!

So, now we're back to square one! It's your turn! Will you remain STILLBORN or will you become REBORN? Now, it is a HEART ISSUE! YOUR LIFE FOR HIS LIFE! Receive/believe Jesus into your heart or situation today (Read Romans 10:8-11). His arms still remain open wide for you For God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus) that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). JESUS IS ALIVE! BECAUSE HE LIVES, WE LIVE!

We worship Him by being REBORN of the Spirit and by worshipping Him in that Spirit...Worship the King of kings and Lord of lords...EVERYDAY!
